[pullquote cite=”Dad, speaking to me just before he passed away” type=”right”]“Son, if there is anything you really want to do, you better go do it soon, because yesterday I was a teenager.”[/pullquote]Just three weeks before his death, Dad looked to me and said, “Son, if there is anything you really want to do, you better go do it soon, because yesterday I was a teenager.”  It was a good reminder to take time in my busy life to do some things that I really enjoy doing.  On the way home from this last quail hunt, which Dad “enjoyed so much,” we talked about doing it again soon.  We never did.  We just didn’t take the time.  Each season of life will come and go, whether you are intentional or not.  Be sure to take time each day to live, instead of just breathe.
