11. On Love
The capacity to love is a wonderful gift from God, and I’m grateful for it. It is a gift that is demonstrated best by God. Love is a choice, not simply an emotional or lustful feeling. True love chooses to prevail over failure and disappointment. True love requires forgiveness and accommodating the differences in those we choose to love. Forgiveness increases my capacity to love. Un-forgiveness results in bitterness and a decreased capacity to love. Love never fails! It’s nice to be loved! I’m grateful!
