12. On Money and the “Rich”
Money is a necessary tool of exchange to acquire things in this world, and to help prepare others for eternity. The more money I have, the more options in life I have in this world. Options are good. The more money I have, the more I can help my family and others. The more money I have, the more I can help others know Jesus Christ around the world. Money is amoral, being neither moral nor immoral. It becomes good or bad by what I do with it. I’m thankful for the “rich people” who offer jobs and provide others a way to make a living. I choose to make lots of money in my lifetime by hard work so I can improve the lives of those I love and help others to know Jesus Christ.
The photo above is me in front of my truck when I was a teenager. I bought this truck while working a minimum wage job at the ages of 15 and 16. I paid my own insurance and gas. I’m thankful for the two “Rich” men who hired me! I’m grateful.
